What should I be asking the dj I'm considering...
How much do you charge?  Deposit?
Does the price include music during the cocktail hour and/or during dinner?
Does your price include everything that you offer as a DJ?
 Is your music legally obtained?
Do you charge extra for lighting?
Are you insured?
Do you have references for your DJ services?
How long have you been a Disc Jockey?
 Are you a full-time DJ?
Do you carry backup equipment with you (not a phone call away)?
Can I have a "no play" song list?
Do you take and play requests?
Can the DJ play songs to suite the tastes of ALL my guests?
How do you stay current with your DJ music library?
Do you have professional DJ Equipment?
Are we guaranteed the DJ of our choice the day of the event?
Do you have Spanish/Italian/Ballroom/Jewish/etc music?
Will you make announcements at my event?
How early will you be Set-Up?
Will you go over what we need to do at my event?
Will you have a sign or banner on your DJ table?
What is your policy on food and alcohol?
Do you sell events to other DJs?
Explain how you will handle the introductions, first dance, cake cutting, garter, bouquet and special dances.
How many breaks will you take during the reception?

Did you know that 80% of your wedding reception will be the entertainment and yet most brides spend less than 5% of their budget on the disc jockey?

Did you know that the dj service you have been talking too may have been in business for many years... but many times, the dj that arrives at your reception isn't that experienced?
